After several years of thick and inflexible second-hand wetsuits, I’m stoked to be representing Zone3 this year. Zone 3 are a UK based brand specialised in all things triathlon and swimming! They do swim robes, goggles and swim toys as well. One of the reasons I chose them is their commitment to sustainability – most of their wetsuits have a large proportion of recycled materials in them, and Zone 3 also have a special ‘sustainabilty collection’.

Have you heard of nopinz yet? If not, do check out their incredible story which started making aero number pockets for time trials, so the athletes wouldn’t have to pierce their special cycle clothing (hence 'no pinz'). They are a UK based cycle clothing brand fully committed to producing the most aerodynamic cycle clothing, all whilst maintaining exceptionally high social and ecological standards in their material sourcing and manufacturing – for instance, all cycle clothes are made in Barnstaple in their factory (check out this reel to get an insight into their factory).

Running shoe partner Run Walk Sport Winchester
My first ever running partner is Run Walk Sport, in Winchester, a friendly local business specialised in getting you the best fitting running shoes. They do trail, road shoes and a variety of race/carbon shoes, as well as walking shoes. Most importantly, they also do a biomechanics assessment first with a foot scan to determine your ideal shoe size and width; a foot pressure analysis to look at how you land and roll through the foot and toes, and a gait analysis. All of these assessments are included in the price if you end up buying one of their running shoes, otherwise the biomechanics assessment costs an affordable £20. They stock almost any brand, and at my appointment with them I found out I’ve been wearing shoes one size too small previously!
