TINA CHRISTMANN
Professional Triathlete
After 14 years of competitive rowing, two international medals, and the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race, I discovered triathlon during my PhD at Oxford in 2021. Momentum built quickly—after major wins, I went pro in 2024. In my first season, I did a 9:00h Iron-distance debut, won the British Middle Distance Championship, and earned three top-10 finishes at major pro events.
Passionate about community, sustainability, and balance in sport, I explore these themes on the Tri with Perspective podcast. Outside triathlon, I’m a forest ecologist, university lecturer, and plant-based cook!

In 2025, my goal is to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii!
